A 41-year-old woman in Australia who underwent herbal treatment by Chinese Doctor Shuquan Liu suffered a heart attack and passed away. Previously known for helping former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and TV host Larry Emdur lose weight with various herbal treatments, Dr. Shuquan Liu was responsible for the death of the woman who came to his clinic to lose weight with a heart condition. Allegedly, the 41-year-old woman had a heart condition, and the Chinese doctor applied herbal tea treatment without asking the necessary questions to the patient directly.
It was determined that the unfortunate woman who passed away due to a heart attack 2 days after her last doctor visit had potassium deficiency and irregular heart rhythm. In court, it was revealed that the patient’s pulse, blood pressure, or heart rate were not examined. Additionally, no questions were asked about the patient’s heart and intestinal health.
Following investigations, Dr. Shuquan Liu was banned from practicing for 3 years.
