Windows 11 Note App, Featuring “Rewrite” Functionality with ChatGPT Support

2 Mins Read

In an innovative move aimed at enhancing Windows 11 users’ daily text editing experiences, Microsoft has taken a significant step. The addition of the ChatGPT-supported “Rewrite” feature to the Notepad application allows users to edit their texts more easily. This feature provides significant convenience for users with creative writing tasks or professional text editing needs.

The “Rewrite” feature offers the ability to rephrase a text, change its tone, or adjust its length. Users can benefit from this feature by clicking the “Rewrite” button after highlighting a text. The system offers three different rewriting options for the highlighted text, allowing users to choose the most suitable one. This innovation has been made available to all users after being tested through the Windows Insider Program, but its usage is limited.

Microsoft 365 subscribers can utilize the Rewrite feature by spending their allocated 60 AI Credits at the beginning of each month. One AI Credit is deducted from the credit balance for each rewrite. Copilot Pro subscribers, on the other hand, have unlimited access to the AI features.
