Will Israel respond to Iran? US President Biden: Nothing will happen

2 Mins Read

US President Joe Biden made a statement regarding the possible response of Israel following Iran’s missile attack. Biden said, “Today nothing will happen.”

There is curiosity about how Israel will respond to Iran’s missile retaliation.

As the world focuses on the Middle East, US President Joe Biden made a statement on the issue.

Biden stated that he does not believe Israel will launch any attack against Iran. When asked by reporters at the White House if Israel would retaliate against Iran, Biden said, “First of all, we do not ‘allow’ Israel. We advise Israel. And today, nothing will happen.”

Iran targeted Israel with hypersonic ballistic missiles on the night of October 1, launching 200 missiles towards Tel Aviv. Iranian media announced that 90% of the targets were hit, while the Tehran government stated that only military points were targeted within the framework of the legitimate defense right.

The Iran Revolutionary Guards reported that the missile attack was in response to the Israeli attacks that killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and Iranian general Abbas Nilfuraşan.

Following the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Iran made a big mistake and stated, “Iran will pay for this.” The Israeli Security Cabinet convened yesterday and decided to “respond strongly” to Iran.
