The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated that almost everyone in Gaza is suffering from hunger, calling it an “inhumane” situation. Ghebreyesus shared on Twitter about the hunger crisis in Gaza. Using the words, “According to recent assessments, nearly everyone in Gaza is experiencing hunger. This is inhumane,” Ghebreyesus called for immediate access to all humanitarian aid for children who urgently need treatment and are severely malnourished. He reiterated the call for a ceasefire, stating, “The best medicine is peace.”
