The payment dates for retirement holiday bonuses are on the agenda of millions of retirees before the upcoming 2025 Ramadan Holiday. The date of this year’s retirement holiday bonuses, deposited by the government every year before the holiday, is eagerly anticipated. So, when will the retirement holiday bonus be deposited? Ramadan Holiday will be celebrated on March 29th this year. Every year, holiday bonuses for retirees are also received by many beneficiaries such as SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund retirees, as well as widows, orphans receiving pensions, relatives of martyrs, veterans, and champion athletes. With the 50% increase made last year, holiday bonuses rose to 3,000 Turkish Lira, and the amount of increase for this year has not been announced yet. Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, stated that efforts are being made to increase the bonuses. Last year, retirement holiday bonus payments started to be deposited into retirees’ accounts one week before the holiday. It is expected that payments will be made in the week of March 24-28 before the 2025 Ramadan Holiday. The bonuses will be transferred to accounts through the banks where retirees receive their pensions based on the last digit of their allocation number.
