Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz expressed his reaction to Israel’s Foreign Minister Saar’s statements on social media.

“Our civilization has never been anti-semitic. Those seeking anti-semitism should look at European history. Rejecting Netanyahu government’s occupation, genocide, and ethnic cleansing policies is not anti-semitism. On the contrary, the real cause of rising anti-semitism worldwide is the inhumane aggression pursued by the Israeli government. They want the world to remain silent while children are killed. No one should speak out while a whole nation is being eradicated and expelled from their homeland. The “Alliance of Humanity,” including Jews who reject the atrocities, will refute these vile propagandas and truth will prevail eventually. The discomfort and insolent words directed at our esteemed President stem from the fear of truth being expressed loudly. We will continue to defend the just cause of the Palestinian people and the common values of humanity based on a two-state solution.”
