Giving messages about the economy, Yılmaz pointed out that according to indicators, there could be a deterioration of 1-2 points in inflation, which will become noticeable over time.
Describing these effects as temporary, short-term impacts, Cevdet Yılmaz stated, “Steps have been taken to address temporary fluctuations.”
Vice President Yılmaz also highlighted the return from foreign investors, stating, “When we talk about foreigners, we mostly refer to the financial markets. There was volatility in short-term accounts. As of today, we can observe a calmness and even some slight reversal. I can say that the storm has subsided.”

Yılmaz was also asked about the call made by terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to the PKK to disarm and dissolve the organization.
