The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has refreshed the list of counterfeit and adulterated foods. Ten new products have been added to the list. Restaurants operating in various cities have been named one by one. Fraud has been detected in products such as pastries, butter, yogurt, olive oil, kebab, meatballs, and clotted cream. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to take samples and carry out laboratory tests to prevent food fraud. The Ministry has made additions to the information on the website “guvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr”. Consequently, the number of confirmed products involved in counterfeiting and adulteration has increased from 721 to 733. Recent tests revealed substances in pastries, butter, yogurt, olive oil, kebab, meatballs, and clotted cream that pose a threat to health due to fraud and adulteration. With the recent update, many products have been included in the list and their producers have been disclosed.
