The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) called for a ceasefire after announcing that more than 180 children were killed in Gaza following the resumption of Israeli bombing.

The statement reported, “More than 180 children were killed in Gaza in a single day. If a ceasefire is not restored, extensive loss of life will continue.” The agency emphasized the urgent need for peace and an end to the violence to prevent further casualties in the region.
