According to this, the number of unemployed individuals aged 15 and over decreased by 95 thousand people to 2 million 886 thousand in February compared to the previous month. The unemployment rate decreased by 0.2 points to 8.2%. The unemployment rate is estimated at 6.7% for men and 11% for women. EMPLOYMENT RATE DECLINES The number of employed individuals decreased by 149 thousand people to 32 million 314 thousand in February compared to the previous month. The employment rate also declined by 0.3 points to 48.8%. This rate was 66% for men and 31.9% for women. RISE IN YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT The unemployment rate among the youth population aged 15-24 increased by 0.1 points to 15% compared to the previous month. The unemployment rate in this age group was estimated at 10.8% for men and 22.7% for women.
