Two US Military Aircraft Make Emergency Landings in Japan in Succession

Two aircraft belonging to the US military made successive emergency landings in Japan. As a result of the incident, the airport runway was closed to aircraft traffic for approximately 1.5 hours.

Two Osprey type aircraft belonging to the US military made emergency landings in succession at Matsumoto Airport in Japan.

While the airport runway was temporarily closed to aircraft traffic, there were some delays in flight schedules.

According to information obtained from the airport authorities, the landings occurred at around 3:00 and 3:30 local time.

It was reported that the second of the aircraft, affiliated with the Futenma Air Station in Okinawa, took off shortly after landing.

It was stated that the airport runway was closed to aircraft traffic for approximately 1.5 hours and some flights were delayed due to the incident.

The cause of the emergency landings is still unknown, and a detailed investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
