The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the raid conducted by Israeli Minister of Extreme Right, Ben-Gvir, and his companions on the Al-Aqsa Mosque. In a written statement issued by the Ministry, the raid by a member of the Israeli government on the Al-Aqsa Mosque was criticized as a “dangerous step intended to further escalate tension in the region.” The statement also highlighted the announcement of the expansion of military operations in Gaza and the continuation of illegal settlement activities in the West Bank as another manifestation of Israel’s disregard for international law and peace efforts. It was emphasized that the international community must ensure the sanctity of holy sites, prevent similar provocations from recurring, and display a resolute stance to prevent Israel from expanding its territories through occupation. Earlier today, the extreme right Israeli Minister of National Security, Ben-Gvir, and his companions conducted a raid on the Al-Aqsa Mosque under tight security measures.
