The U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz has said that President Donald Trump’s plan to forcibly displace Palestinians in Gaza is “a very practical idea.”

Making statements regarding Trump’s plan to forcibly displace Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz spoke to Trump’s daughter-in-law and Fox News host Lara Trump.

Waltz told Lara Trump that Trump’s plan to forcibly displace Palestinians in Gaza is “a very practical idea” as he looks at the destruction and death in Gaza. As a builder, he knows that cleaning this up would take years. He raised a very practical question: how will two million people live in the midst of all this destruction for 10 years?

Waltz suggested that Palestinians, if given the opportunity, might consider leaving Gaza. He said, “As President Trump said, have they ever really been offered? And who wouldn’t take the opportunity to take their family somewhere else and find a decent home and a place to live?”

The Palestinian side rejected Trump’s offer, labeling the plan as ethnic cleansing, and stating that they want to remain in their lands. Arab countries also opposed this proposal, offering an alternative suggestion to rebuild Gaza without displacing Palestinians.
