President Donald Trump spent four hours at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a thorough examination, revealing that he passed the cognitive test at the end of his first medical check-up of his current presidential term.
A detailed health report on the President was last published in 2018. The New York Times reported concerns among medical experts regarding the lack of new information ahead of the U.S. elections, citing potential serious health issues for individuals Trump’s age, such as heart disease risk and cognitive decline associated with aging.
“I KNEW ALL THE ANSWERS RIGHT”
Yesterday, Trump underwent his first health examination of his second term. In a statement to journalists, he disclosed that the examination included a cognitive test, for which the doctors will provide a report on the results in the coming days.
Trump said, “I underwent a cognitive test. I don’t know what to tell you, except that I knew all the answers right. I had various other tests related to the heart, among other things.”
According to ABC News, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt stated that the results of the latest physical examination will be disclosed as soon as possible.
U.S. presidents are not obligated to reveal their medical records, and they have a long history of concealing health issues.
Trump, who at 78 is the oldest president to begin a second term in office, has not been very forthcoming about his health information in recent years. His predecessor, Joe Biden, started his first term at the same age and noticeably slowed down during his presidency.
The cognitive test was part of Trump’s initial White House examination in 2018, where he boasted about his “success” in the test. However, this test was not part of Biden’s 2024 examination. Biden struggled in a debate against Trump last summer and eventually withdrew from the presidential race.
