Trump Media Partners with Crypto.com to Launch Crypto ETFs

2 Mins Read

Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) announced a collaboration with Crypto.com to develop a series of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and investment products under the Truth.Fi brand. The new ETFs are planned to include digital assets such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Cronos (CRO), aiming to increase investors’ access to innovative financial instruments focused on the U.S. economy. The launch is expected to take place within this year. TMTG took a significant step into the digital asset market by joining forces with Crypto.com. The company revealed a non-binding agreement to develop a range of ETFs and exchange-traded products under the Truth.Fi brand. According to an announcement made on Monday, these ETFs will be offered through Crypto.com’s brokerage Foris Capital US LLC, combining digital assets with traditional securities. Bitcoin (BTC) and Crypto.com’s platform token Cronos (CRO) will be featured assets in these funds. The new investment products are planned to cater especially to investors focused on the U.S. economy. Devin Nunes, CEO of Trump Media, stated that this initiative aims to offer investors options aligned with their principles through an “America First” approach. Nunes expressed, “We aspire to support innovative crypto ventures and great American companies without the distraction of political agendas.” The partnership is seen as a significant innovation for the industry by Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, who highlighted that these ETFs offer more choices from a brand with a loyal following. Marszalek mentioned, “After the launch, they will be accessible in the Crypto.com app for our 140 million plus users.” Besides ETFs, TMTG also plans to offer Truth.Fi Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) financed from the company’s cash reserves. It was announced that this financial initiative will be supported by a $250 million investment managed by Charles Schwab. The launch of the new ETFs is expected to take place later in the year, with the products planned to trade in major markets like the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
