Trump: Foreign-made cars to face 25% tax

President Donald Trump announced that foreign-made cars will face a 25% tax. He also mentioned that a minimum of 10% import tax will be imposed on other countries.

After stating, “I will soon sign a historic decree,” President Donald Trump faced the cameras.

He stated, “One of the most crucial days in American history, the announcement of our economic independence, the golden age of the US is coming.” Donald Trump said they will apply a 20% import tax to the European Union and also introduced a 25% tax on foreign-made cars.

Trump emphasized, “The US can no longer continue unilateral economic surrender. We must take care of our own people.”

A 10% import tax will be imposed on Turkey and other countries, as stated by Trump, who added, “If you want to avoid customs duties, produce in the US.” Trump’s key remarks from his announcement include: “The US can no longer produce enough antibiotics to treat our patients. Do you think the European Union is friendly? They are ripping us off, and it is very sad to see.
