Tropical storm hits Philippines: Death toll rises to 81

The number of casualties from the floods and landslides caused by Tropical Storm Trami hitting the northeast of the Philippines has risen to 81, with 66 people injured. The impact of Trami Tropical Storm in the northeast of the Philippines has worsened the situation with heavy rains and floods. According to data from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), the number of fatalities in the storm has reached 81. It was reported that 47 of the deaths were recorded in the Batangas province, and 28 in the Bicol region. While 66 people were injured in the storm, 34 were reported missing. It was stated that 4,207,387 people were affected by the floods, and 8,432 houses were damaged.
