The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has revealed the wealthiest province in Turkey. According to the research, Kocaeli ranked as the wealthiest province, with Istanbul in second place and Ankara in third place. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) published the report on “Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by Province.” Various criteria were considered in the report to evaluate each city individually. As a result of the assessments, Istanbul and Ankara did not rank as the wealthiest provinces in Turkey. Kocaeli claimed the top spot in the research, becoming Turkey’s wealthiest province. Following Kocaeli are Istanbul, Tekirdağ, Ankara, Izmir, Bilecik, Kırklareli, Yalova, Antalya, and Bursa in order.
