In a statement by the Guinness World Records, it was mentioned that Pugsley’s owner noticed the exceptional length of their cat’s tail compared to other cats, leading to the application for the record. Following an official measurement, Pugsley’s tail record was confirmed. Pugsley’s tail was recorded at 46.99 centimeters during the measurement.
