The Federal Reserve (Fed) has published its audited financial statements for the year 2024.

The Fed reported an operating loss of $77.6 billion for 2024. The audited financial statements for 2024 released by the Fed revealed an operating loss of $77.6 billion calculated for the year.

The bank also announced an operating loss of $114.3 billion in 2023.

Previously, in 2022, the Fed had returned to profit and reported earnings of $58.8 billion.
