The storm lasted for about 48 hours in the Hidalgo, Willacy, and Cameron regions. At least 3 people lost their lives in Hidalgo. Many vehicles were stranded in floodwaters. More than 200 people were rescued from homes and vehicles.

In the city of Reynosa in the Tamaulipas state of Mexico, located at the US border, a 83-year-old man lost his life in the flood. More than 690 people stranded in the state due to the flood were also rescued by the Mexico Civil Protection Coordination.
