The Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) aims to reach 51 thousand supported SMEs by the end of the year, with a goal of increasing this number to 52 thousand next year. According to the compilation from the Proposal of the Central Government Budget Law for the Year 2025, efforts to support industry, production, and investments continue unabated to enhance SME development. Various supports are being provided in different areas to contribute to the innovative, technological, and competitive structure of SMEs and entrepreneurs in the country, aiming to increase their contribution to economic and social development. Supporting the rapid growth, digital transformation, and capacity building of SMEs is intended to contribute to achieving the Turkey Century goals. Last year, KOSGEB supported 48,761 SMEs, with the number projected to increase to 51 thousand by the year-end. The target is for the supported SMEs to reach 52 thousand next year, 53 thousand in 2026, and 54 thousand in 2027. KOSGEB is expected to support the investment expenses for digital transformation of 120 businesses next year, with the goal of 143 in 2026 and 156 in 2027 benefiting from this support. The goal is for the number of women who are eligible to obtain an entrepreneurship certificate from the Presidency to reach 52,500 in 2025, 55,000 in 2026, and 57,500 in 2027. It is anticipated that 50,000 women will receive this certificate by the end of the year. The number of individuals eligible to receive this certificate is expected to be 114,000 by the year-end, 115,000 next year, 116,000 in 2026, and 118,000 in 2027. The target has been set for the number of entrepreneurial women supported by the Presidency to be 8,500 by the end of 2025 and 2026, and 8,750 in 2027. The share of support provided to women in entrepreneurial support is expected to be 27% next year and 27.5% in 2027. Efforts are also aimed at increasing SMEs’ share of exports through the provided support. The goal is for SMEs to have a 34% share of exports next year, 36% in 2026, and 38% in 2027. Targets have been set for increasing activities in the manufacturing industry in the budget proposal. It is projected that the share of manufacturing industry within KOSGEB support will be 74% in 2025, 75% in 2026, and 76% in 2027. The number of businesses receiving capacity development support from KOSGEB next year is planned to be 2,200, 2,250 in 2006, and 2,300 in 2027. Efforts will also be made to support local products in the country. Within this framework, it is aimed to support 15 domestically produced products in 2025 and reach 1100 businesses supported in the green transformation sector.
