A storm named “Nuria” is negatively affecting life across much of Spain. It was reported that in the city of Seville in the southern region of Andalusia, the roof of a warehouse collapsed due to the storm, leading to the loss of three lives.
In a statement from the health department of the Andalusian regional government, it was indicated that the roof and side wall of an agricultural warehouse in the industrial area of Cortija el Seguro in Seville collapsed due to strong winds. Officials announced that three workers lost their lives as a result of the collapse, and that a high-voltage power line tower in the area was also damaged, prompting an increase in security measures. On the other hand, the National Meteorological Institute (AEMET) shared information that the wind speed reached 150 kilometers per hour due to the storm, especially affecting Andalusia, the Canary Islands, and the eastern regions of the country.
