In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index started the day with a 1.55% increase, opening at 9,553.24 points. At the open, the BIST 100 index rose by 146.08 points and 1.55% to reach 9,553.24 points compared to the previous closing. The banking index gained 2%, while the holding index increased by 1.49%. All sector indices were up, with banking being the top gainer. In the domestic market, the BIST 100 index closed yesterday with a positive trend, outperforming global indices by ending the day with a 0.29% increase at 9,407.17 points. In the global markets, a mixed trend is expected due to negotiations overshadowing sales pressure caused by tariff retaliation. Analysts highlighted that today, domestic financial instruments’ real interest rates and treasury cash balances will be closely monitored, while internationally, the data agenda remains calm. From a technical perspective, they noted that the BIST 100 index has resistance at 9,600 and 9,700 points, with support levels at 9,400 and 9,300.
