Today, the stock market traded for half a day due to an official holiday. The BIST 100 index completed the day at 8,946 points, gaining 0.42 percent. At Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index closed the day at 8,945.80 points, experiencing a 0.42 percent increase. It saw a rise of 37.32 points compared to the previous closing, with a total trading volume of 24.6 billion Turkish liras. While the banking index lost 0.22 percent, the holding index gained 0.48 percent. Among the sector indices, the most profitable was financial leasing factoring with 2.34 percent, and the one with the most losses was insurance with 1.02 percent. Today at the stock market, continuous auction transactions in the equity markets took place until 12.30 pm due to the October 29 Republic Day holiday, followed by a closing session between 12.30-12.40 pm. Analysts noted that technically, the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 9,000 and 9,100, while the support levels are at 8,800 and 8,700 points. In the afternoon, analysts mentioned that the October Dallas Fed manufacturing index in the US would be monitored. Tomorrow, there will be no trading in domestic markets due to the holiday. Internationally, the consumer confidence index and wholesale inventories in the US, as well as the unemployment rate in Japan, will be observed.
