The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul completed the day at 9,006.55 points with a 0.68% increase. The index increased by 60.76 points compared to the previous close, with a total trading volume of 69.2 billion lira. The banking index gained 1.10%, while the holding index gained 0.68%. The technology sector was the biggest gainer with a 2.71% increase, while the sports sector showed the biggest decline with a 0.98% loss. According to data from the US today, private sector employment showed an increase of 233,000 people in October, exceeding expectations. The US economy grew by 2.8% in the third quarter, but this figure fell below market expectations. Consumer spending saw the highest increase of the year with 3.7%. Tomorrow, the domestic foreign trade balance, Bank of Japan’s interest rate decision, US personal income and spending data, and Eurozone inflation figures will be monitored. Analysts reported that Bank of Japan is expected to keep its policy rate unchanged and President Kazuo Ueda’s statements will be the focus of investors. From a technical perspective, the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 9,100 and 9,200, while the support levels are at 8,900 and 8,800 points.
