The General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House stated that the procurement of system equipment under the National Vehicle Recognition System (UTTS) was not assigned to an Israeli company, but to a local company located in Istanbul Informatics Valley. It was emphasized that no software process, data storage service, or hardware procurement within the scope of UTTS was carried out by an Israeli company.
The statement from the Mint mentioned that there were unfounded claims in some media outlets that system equipment related to UTTS would be procured by an Israeli company, necessitating a response to these claims. It was stated in the statement, “Our institution has assigned the procurement of system equipment under UTTS to a local company located in Istanbul Informatics Valley, not an Israeli company. None of the software processes, data storage services, or hardware procurement within the scope of UTTS are carried out by an Israeli company.
The software, hardware, and field operations within the project are entirely conducted by a 100% Turkish-owned, local, and national company.”
