The senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX company, sent 4 astronauts to the International Space Station as part of the Crew-10 mission.
The Dragon spacecraft belonging to SpaceX, carrying four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), was successfully launched by the Falcon-9 rocket.
The Falcon-9 rocket, carrying the Dragon spacecraft with astronauts Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers, Takuya Onishi, and Kirill Peskov, was successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, at 02:04 Turkey time.
Approximately 8 minutes after the launch, the first stage booster of the Falcon-9 rocket, which has the feature of reusability, landed at the 1st landing zone (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
As part of the Crew-10 mission sent to the ISS, it was announced that the 4 astronauts will replace NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore who have been stranded on the ISS for about 9 months due to a malfunction in the Starliner spacecraft belonging to Boeing. During their time on the ISS, they will conduct a series of beneficial scientific research for humanity.
The Crew-10 mission, which was expected to start last Thursday, was postponed at the last minute due to a technical glitch.
