South Africa’s Ambassador Declared “Undesirable Person” in the US

1 Mins Read

The United States announced that Ebrahim Rasool, South Africa’s Ambassador to the US, has been declared an “undesirable person” and no longer has a place in America.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio shared a message on social media account X regarding reports on South Africa’s Ambassador to the US, Ebrahim Rasool. Rubio stated, “He engages in race-based provocations and hates America and the US President. We have nothing to discuss with him, and he is now considered an undesirable person.”

Rubio mentioned that Rasool no longer has a place in the US. US President Donald Trump had suggested granting citizenship to “white South African farmers,” alleging mistreatment from the South African government. According to the US media, Rasool accuses Trump of leading the “white supremacist movement” in his country and globally. The political tension between the two countries intensified with the “genocide” case South Africa opened against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
