In the state of South Carolina in the US, a school bus had a tire blowout. As a result of the accident, 1 person on the overturned bus lost their life and many others were injured. The accident occurred yesterday afternoon on Interstate 77 highway in Chester County. The bus, carrying about 35 students and 2 adults, was returning from a trip near North Carolina when its tire burst, causing it to collide with a barrier and overturn. While 1 person lost their life in the accident, emergency response teams that arrived at the scene transported the injured to nearby hospitals. It was reported that two other school buses on the same trip noticed the accident, maneuvered to avoid it, and prevented further accidents. The South Carolina Highway Patrol initiated an investigation into the incident.
