The schedule for the 2025 budget discussions at the Parliament has been set. The discussions will begin on October 22 in the Planning and Budget Commission and conclude on November 29. The proposal will be presented to the General Assembly at the beginning of December.
The schedule for discussions on the 2025 Parliament budget has been revealed. The 2025 Central Government Budget Law Proposal presented to the Parliament Presidency yesterday has been referred to the Turkish Grand National Assembly Planning and Budget Commission. According to the set schedule, it is anticipated that the deliberations on the budget, final accounts, and Court of Accounts reports in the commission will last for a month. The budget discussions will commence with a presentation by Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz on October 22 regarding the 2025 Central Government Budget Law Proposal and the 2023 Central Government Final Account Law Proposal. Following the budget presentation, there will be a one-week break in the commission sessions for members to prepare. Discussions on the overall budget will take place in the Planning and Budget Commission on Wednesday, October 30. Agency and institution budget discussions for the year 2025 will be completed by Friday, November 29. The schedule for the discussion of the 2025 budget for public institutions is as follows:

TO BE PRESENTED TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN DECEMBER The articles of the 2025 Central Government Budget Law Proposal and the 2023 Central Government Final Account Law Proposal will also be discussed on Friday, November 29. The Turkish Grand National Assembly Planning and Budget Commission will start examining the budget proposals of public institutions every day at 10:00 and work until the end of the daily program. Following the conclusion of the discussions in the commission, it is expected that the 2025 budget will be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly at the beginning of December.
