The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zaharova, has stated that they reserve the right to respond to Ukraine’s attacks on Russian energy facilities.
In a written statement, Zaharova addressed the ongoing attacks by Ukraine on energy facilities in Russia. Despite an agreement with the US not to target energy infrastructure facilities, Zaharova pointed out that Kiev’s attacks on Russian territories continue. She noted that on March 19, an attack was carried out on a fuel depot in Kuban, followed by an assault on the Suca natural gas metering station in the Kursk region on March 21. Zaharova also mentioned deliberate strikes by Ukrainian military drones on residential and social institutions, indicating that Kiev’s actions once again demonstrate a lack of negotiation skills and unwillingness to achieve peace. She warned that if the destructive trend of the Kiev regime continues, Russia will reserve the right to respond, including with symmetrical actions.
