The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate rose by 0.3 percentage points in March, reaching 75.2 percent. The capacity utilization rate (CUR) in the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month, standing at 74.4 percent in March. According to the statement from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), responses given to the Economic Trends Survey for March by 1738 establishments operating in the manufacturing industry were collected and evaluated. The survey results indicated a decrease of 0.1 percentage points in the manufacturing industry’s capacity utilization rate, reaching 74.4 percent in March compared to the previous month. The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate (CUR-SA), considered as a leading indicator of growth, increased by 0.3 percentage points to 75.2 percent compared to the previous month.
