The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change announced that the Güneş Site in Istanbul, where property owners have reached an agreement, will receive grants through the “Half of it is on Us” program. It was also reported that construction support is provided in collaboration with the Urban Transformation Department and TOKİ.

In an official statement, it was mentioned that new residences and living areas will be built on-site under state guarantee for the transformation of the 8 blocks. Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum stated on social media that they have transformed Istanbul with the “Half of it is on Us” initiative, continuing to provide 700 thousand lira grants, 700 thousand lira loans, and 100 thousand lira relocation assistance.

Kurum emphasized that they step in when citizens reach an agreement in large-scale transformations, offering 700 thousand lira grants and 100 thousand lira relocation assistance to those wishing to transform their risky structures, building new residences under the assurance of TOKİ and Emlak Konut.
