2 Mins Read

The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Uraloglu, announced that approximately 60 thousand tankers will be removed from the traffic in Antalya with the new pipeline. The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, reported that they have constructed a new pipeline inside Antalya Airport to transport aircraft fuel to strengthen the investments made within the Antalya Airport Expansion Project. Minister Uraloğlu noted that the pipeline in question was integrated into the pipeline owned by the Ministry of National Defense ANT Directorate. He stated, “We have built a new pipeline within the airport area to transport aircraft fuel from the sea port to Antalya Airport. The pipeline extends directly to the terminals inside the airport. This allows us to refuel planes much faster, safer, and more efficiently.”

“ANTALYA TRAFFIC WILL BE RELIEVED” Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that this project is a strategic gain for Antalya. He stated, “We are removing the entry and exit traffic of approximately 60 thousand tankers between the Seaport and Antalya Airport from the roads annually. Thus, we are relieving Antalya city traffic, increasing road safety, and reducing environmental pollution.” “NEW TERMINAL BUILDINGS OPENING TODAY” Minister Uraloğlu also mentioned that the new terminal buildings implemented as part of the Antalya Airport Expansion Project will be inaugurated today by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He said, “We are expanding the international terminal to 224 thousand square meters, and the domestic terminal to 75 thousand square meters, increasing the annual passenger capacity of our airport to 82 million.”
