The defense industry sector broke an export record in March 2025. The announcement came from Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün.

In his statement, Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün highlighted that the export in the Defense and Aerospace sectors in March 2025 showed a historical increase of 147% compared to the previous year’s March. Görgün stated that the export, which was 358 million dollars in March 2024, has increased to 884 million dollars this year. The President of the Defense Industry emphasized that the sectoral export in the first quarter of the year reached 1.7 billion dollars with a 72% increase compared to the same period last year.
