The Bayer Turkish Chemistry company, operating in Kocaeli, reached an agreement with the Petrol İş Union Gebze Branch for a collective labor agreement. The average net salary of the factory workers rose to 102 thousand TL with the agreement, reaching a total monthly income of 176 thousand lira including social benefits. According to the Kocaeli Newspaper, the collective labor agreement was signed at the union’s headquarters in Bayer Turkish Chemistry, where the Petrol İş Union Gebze Branch is organized. Representatives of the union and the employer attended the meeting.

BARE SALARY 102 THOUSAND TL The President of the Petrol İş Union Gebze Branch, Şivan Kırmızıçiçek, expressed satisfaction with the signed collective labor agreement. Explaining that the agreement covers the next two years, Kırmızıçiçek stated, “The result is as follows; the bare salary averages 102 thousand lira, while the total of the social benefits package amounts to 176 thousand lira.”
