The world’s most powerful armies have been updated in 2025. As a result of a comprehensive research conducted by the US-based Global Firepower, the most effective military forces in the world were determined.

This ranking was created considering not only the number of soldiers but also more than 60 criteria such as technological infrastructure, defense budget, logistical capacity, mobility, and geographical advantages. Turkey, as a result of this analysis, managed to rank among the top 10 strongest armies.
