He expressed deep concern over the escalation of tensions and called on all parties to act with restraint and avoid actions that could disrupt security and stability. Israel announced that it carried out attacks on military targets in Iran as a “retaliation” for Iran’s missile attacks on October 1. Iran announced that some military points in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces were targeted and that the air defense systems “successfully” countered the attacks, although there was “limited damage” in some points. Israel declared that the attack was completed “successfully.”
