Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who made evaluations regarding the Ukraine war, suggested that President Erdogan proposed to revive the maritime contacts in the Black Sea, but said he has not had time to review the documents yet. Putin also touched on the discussions about North Korean soldiers, stating that “We will decide when the time comes regarding military aid mentioned in the bilateral agreement.”

Putin stated that Ukraine rejected Russian peace initiatives twice, mentioning that “The West has changed its rhetoric in Ukraine but has not really changed the level of conflict.”
Putin also mentioned that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested reviving the maritime contacts in the Black Sea, but said he has not had time to review the documents yet.
The two leaders met the day before at the BRICS summit.
According to RIA news agency, Putin said “Russia will not concede in the Ukraine dispute,” and added, “It is too early to talk about an agreement with Ukraine.”
Regarding military aid mentioned in the bilateral agreement between Russia and North Korea, Putin stated that they will decide when the time comes.
Putin said, “It will be our sovereign decision whether we need to implement this clause of the agreement.”
Debates continue about 3,000 North Korean soldiers being sent to Ukraine to support the Russian army.
