Russian President Putin celebrated International Women’s Day in his country with a video message shared to honor women.

Russian President Vladimir Putin joined the leaders marking International Women’s Day on March 8.

In the video message he shared, Putin said, “Dear women, we know that much in life depends on you, your talents, creative energy, love, and the high level of responsibility you take on in everything you do. Once again, we admire your beauty, kindness, and grace.” According to TASS news agency, Putin stated, “Today, words of love, gratitude, and respect are heard everywhere because men express their appreciation to women for both their contributions at home and in the workplace, often tackling complex professional challenges.” Putin continued in his message, saying, “You truly do it all: taking care of children, achieving extraordinary success in various fields, representing both strength and elegance, courage and compassion, and winning us over again and again with your beauty and charm.” Highlighting how women inspire men to do better, Putin added, “You encourage us to take bold steps and become the true defenders of our families, homes, and Motherland.”
