Project Applications Totaling 321 Million TRY from Two Provinces

During the second call for IPARD projects in Samsun and Sinop, applications totaling 321 million Turkish Lira were submitted. The Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) announced the second project call for the IPARD III Program launched on June 28. According to the statement issued by TKDK Samsun Sinop Coordination, the second project call within the program was completed on September 27. The call was focused on diversifying farm activities and business development in the rural sector. A total of 36 project applications were submitted, with 13 from Sinop and 23 from Samsun. The total investment amount of these projects was 321 million TRY, with a requested grant support amount of 212 million TRY. The distribution of applications across sectors included projects such as greenhouse flower cultivation, medical aromatic plant cultivation, beekeeping, craftsmanship, rice drying, bakery products, rural tourism (accommodation and catering facilities), fish farming, machinery fleet, and solar energy plants. Applications for livestock facilities and machinery-equipment projects were reported to still be ongoing. The IPARD Program is being implemented with co-financing from the European Union through the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
