An English clergyman, aged 69, suddenly died on the night he took drugs with his Belgian colleague, aged 60. Two priests, one British and one Belgian, took drugs at a priest’s house in the province of Antwerp, Belgium, and then engaged in sexual intercourse. Towards the end of the night, the English priest suddenly fell ill. His Belgian colleague called the emergency services, but despite all efforts, the English priest could not be saved. The prosecution confirmed that the English priest engaged in sexual intercourse with the other priest after using drugs. While the Belgian priest was arrested on drug charges, authorities announced that drug traces were found in the body of the victim. The Belgian priest, who is being tried on charges of ‘drug trafficking resulting in death,’ has not yet reached a final verdict.
