The value of the Trabzon wicker bracelet set has also increased with the rise in gold prices. The president of the Trabzon Jewelers and Watchmakers Association, Ali Yazıcı, stated that the price of Trabzon wicker bracelet sets, which started at 250,000 TL last year, has now reached 350-450,000 TL due to the gram gold price exceeding 3,000 TL. Yazıcı predicts that gold could reach 3,500 in the short term, and 4,500 in the long term. He emphasized the historical significance of the wicker bracelet, which is an essential accessory for weddings in Trabzon. According to jeweler Zekeriya Tonyalı, there are Trabzon wicker bracelet sets that exceed 1 million TL, depending on the craftsmanship and workmanship. Tonyalı noted that compared to last year, there is a significant increase in the prices of wicker sets, with some sets now starting at 500,000 TL, while the most expensive set could exceed one million TL.
