President Erdogan: “Halt” Must Be Said to Netanyahu’s Genocide Policy

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb. During the leaders’ discussion, bilateral relations between Turkey and Finland, as well as regional and global issues, were addressed.

According to the Presidency Communications Directorate’s social media account, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone call with Finnish President Alexander Stubb. Their conversation touched upon bilateral relations between Turkey and Finland, as well as regional and global issues. President Erdogan expressed his full determination to deepen cooperation with Finland and stated that they will continue to work on enhancing relations in many areas, including defense industry and counterterrorism.

UKRAINE-RUSSIA CONFLICT President Erdogan mentioned that Turkey continues its efforts for a fair and lasting peace to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, expecting Russia to accept the ceasefire call.

GENOCIDE IN GAZA During the conversation, President Erdogan stated that Israel’s renewed attacks in Gaza are unacceptable, emphasizing the need for the international community to now say “stop” to Netanyahu’s genocide policy and the importance of restoring a ceasefire as soon as possible.
