Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will visit Ankara tomorrow, in response to an invitation by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The Polish Prime Minister is set to make an official trip to Turkey.
Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun announced on social media that Tusk will carry out a working visit to Turkey on Wednesday, March 12, in response to President Erdoğan’s invitation. Altun stated that during the meetings at the Presidential Complex, steps to enhance bilateral relations will be discussed. He noted, “During the meetings, Turkish-EU relations within the framework of Poland’s EU Council Presidency will be evaluated, and exchange of views will also take place on current regional and global issues including Ukraine and Transatlantic relations. We believe that the Turkey-Poland relations, which celebrated their 600th anniversary in recent years, will further strengthen and develop with Mr. Tusk’s visit.”
