Discussions between Ukraine and the US to end the war with Russia have started in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The US delegation will also meet with the Russian delegation tomorrow.

The US and Ukrainian delegations have come together in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated, “We have started talks with the US team in Riyadh.”

Umerov mentioned that they are implementing the instructions of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to strengthen peace and security, “Our agenda includes proposals for the protection of energy facilities and critical infrastructure. Today, we are working on a series of complex technical issues. Military representatives from energy experts, as well as maritime and air elements, are also included in our delegation.”

The US and Ukrainian delegations last met in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 11, in a 9-hour long discussion. The US delegation will meet with the Russian delegation tomorrow.
