In the US, it has been revealed that 78 percent of small and medium-sized enterprises are expecting an increase in revenue this year. Bank of America (BofA) announced that 78 percent of small and medium-sized business owners in the US are anticipating a revenue increase this year. According to the bank’s research, while the majority of business leaders are planning growth, confidence in small businesses is lagging behind. Raul Anaya, President of BofA Business Banking, stated, “Overall, the report is positive. Around 80 percent of the business owners we surveyed across the country feel really good about what’s happening in their businesses.” The study noted that 70 percent of SMEs are looking to expand their businesses, with over half considering hiring to support growth. It was also highlighted that 85 percent of medium-sized enterprises are expecting a further increase in revenue next year.
