Botas (Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taşıma AŞ) reported that there have been no changes to the pricing of natural gas used by residential and industrial subscribers, as well as gas used for electricity production, as of October. According to the pricing table published on Botas’ website, the pricing for residential and industrial subscribers and electricity production purposes will remain unchanged starting from October. As per the announcement, the selling price that Botas will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in October is stated as 5,631 Turkish lira per thousand cubic meters of natural gas. For bread producers, the set tariff is determined as 8,549 Turkish lira per thousand cubic meters of natural gas. Meanwhile, the price of natural gas per thousand cubic meters for electricity production purposes is announced as 12,000 Turkish lira. The pricing for natural gas is calculated on a monthly basis. The announcement on the institution’s website stated, “Household Energy Price Index (HEPI) prices indicate that, after Ukraine, the lowest natural gas prices among European countries are implemented in our country for residential consumers.”
