Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held another election rally at the site where an assassination attempt was made against him in the Butler region of Pennsylvania on July 13. In Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump organized another election rally after the assassination attempt. Supporters welcomed Trump at the rally venue with American flags, slogans, hats, and shirts reading “Make America great again.” Vice presidential candidate J.D Vance and American billionaire Elon Musk supported Trump at the rally.

Starting his speech by asking “Where did we leave off?”, Trump stated that he came to deliver a simple message, emphasizing that they are much closer to winning stronger, more honorable, and united. Trump mentioned that God protected him from the horrible monster of a sniper who was unsuccessful in harming him, and referred to the bullet they faced for America 12 weeks ago.

Pointing out the numerous challenges he faced with his opponents, Trump speculated that they might have been trying to kill him. He delivered a message of “winning together,” warning that without an “intelligent president,” internal and external threats could pose significant problems, with internal threats being more dangerous than Russia, North Korea, and China. Trump also mentioned plans to deport numerous “dangerous individuals.”

Inviting Elon Musk onto the stage, Trump highlighted Musk’s protection of freedom of speech. Musk underscored America as the homeland of the brave, questioned who the people want to represent them, and declared the 2024 elections as one of the most crucial in US history, accusing Democrats of trying to eliminate free speech.

Musk reiterated the importance of Trump winning to safeguard democracy, urging everyone to register and vote because this election could be the last. Vice presidential candidate Vance expressed his memory of July 13, emphasizing Trump’s leadership during adversity. He questioned Vice President Harris’s right to speak about threats to democracy when Trump was shot for democracy, highlighting her inaction.

The assassination attempt against Trump took place during a rally on July 13, resulting in one person being killed, two injured, and the Secret Service announcing the neutralization of the attacker. The FBI classified the attack as an assassination attempt, revealing the perpetrator to be 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed at the scene. During the attempt, firefighter Corey Comperatore lost his life, while James Copenhaver and David Dutch were injured.
